In the height of summer, melons and fruits are fragrant. In the melon fields of Duxiu Community, Baizehu Township, Anqing City, round watermelons lay across the ridges and winter melons filled the fields. Upon learning of this situation, Anhui Poly Pharm Co., Ltd. proactively contacted melon farmers in Duxiu Community, Baizehu Township, point to point, and launched a caring agriculture support action of "purchasing to help, promoting rural revitalization." Through a "direct procurement + direct-to-table" approach, the company purchased local watermelons and winter melons from Baizehu in bulk, bringing the melons and fruits from the fields "into" the company canteen, helping melon farmers overcome their difficulties.
Sliced watermelons served as refreshing benefits for employees during the hot weather, while winter melons went directly to the canteen — dried shrimp with diced winter melon, stir-fried winter melon, and more. From the fields to the employees' dining tables, farmers found a market and employees enjoyed fresh produce. This "from field to table" direct channel warmed both ends.
