On June 14, Anhui Poly Pharm Co., Ltd. organized a team-building activity themed "Unite Strength, Dare to Take Responsibility." Managers from various departments gathered at the foot of Dalong Mountain in Anqing, where they deepened mutual understanding and built rapport in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, collectively experiencing a unique journey of team bonding.
At the start of the event, the host warmed up the atmosphere and selected two newly promoted managers to serve as team captains, quickly forming two highly capable teams. Thus, "Riding the Wind" and "Breaking the Waves" were born. Members of both teams were eager and full of morale, ready for an exciting team competition.
The first game, "Basket Catch," kicked off the competition. One player carried a bamboo basket and stood in a designated area, while teammates tossed balloons into the air from a set distance. The basket carrier had to keep moving and adjusting angles to catch every flying balloon. What appeared to be a simple game actually tested the unspoken coordination and mutual trust between teammates. Just as in collaborative work, only through mutual understanding and seamless alignment can team effectiveness be maximized.
The second game, "Pass the Paper Cup," brought the spirit of teamwork to its fullest expression. Team members used only their mouths to hold chopsticks and pass the paper cups one by one, without touching them with their hands. This required not only skill but also mutual trust and patience. A single glance or a nod served as silent, unspoken coordination.
The third game brought the atmosphere to a climax — each team had to find items on their teammates and link them together into a long line. From shoelaces to belts, from shoes to socks, everyone generously "offered their treasures." Some took off their clothes, while others unfastened their watches. This was a vivid portrayal of the spirit of "dedication and sacrifice" — for the team's victory, everyone was willing to contribute their own part.
The final highlight game was rock-paper-scissors. The winning side had to eat a big bite of cherry tomatoes on the spot, while the losing side swapped in another player to continue the challenge. The scene was filled with continuous laughter and joy. Some won repeatedly and ate until they were stuffed, while the losing team kept swapping players and fighting on without giving up. "Daring to Take Responsibility" was best interpreted at this moment — losing is nothing to fear; swap in another player and go again. As long as the team needs them, everyone can step up at any time.
As the event drew to a close, all participants stood together in a circle and sang the classic old song "Friends" in unison. As the familiar melody played, everyone spontaneously raised their arms and swayed gently to the rhythm. The song echoed through the air, and every face was filled with smiles and emotion. In that moment, there were only comrades fighting side by side and teammates who trusted one another.
A short morning of team-building not only allowed the usually busy managers to relax both body and mind, but also gave everyone a deeper understanding: an excellent team requires not only individual capability, but also the spirit of unity and collaboration, the willingness to dedicate and take responsibility, and the courage to embrace challenges. As Mr. Li, the Plant Director of Anhui Primes, said in his summary: "Today's games are just like our daily work. Everyone is a link in the chain. Only when the links are closely connected can we form a cohesive force and drive the company forward continuously."
The event drew to a close amid laughter, joy, and warm singing, but the cohesive strength of the team will continue to ferment and grow in the days ahead.
