June 2026 marks the 25th National "Work Safety Month." In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the theme "Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response," Anhui Poly Pharm Co., Ltd. carefully organized a series of diverse safety publicity and emergency drill activities, effectively enhancing the safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of all employees.
In early June this year, the EHS Department of Anhui Poly Pharm organized all employees to carry out a fire emergency drill. As the fire alarm sounded, employees in all workshops and office areas responded quickly, bending low, covering their mouths and noses, and evacuating in an orderly manner along designated evacuation routes to the safe assembly point.
At the drill site, EHS professionals also provided detailed instructions on the correct use of fire extinguishers and fire hydrants, and organized employees to take part in hands-on practice. "First lift, second pull, third grip, fourth press" — under the guidance of the professionals, everyone took turns stepping up and personally experienced the firefighting process, effectively mastering the skills for extinguishing early-stage fires.
As the highlight of this Safety Month, the company organized a plant-level comprehensive emergency drill. The drill simulated a solvent leakage scenario at a storage tank in the tank farm, comprehensively testing the scientific validity of the company's emergency response plan and the collaborative response capabilities of all emergency response teams.
After the drill began, on-site operators immediately reported the "leak" upon discovery. The emergency command center quickly activated the response plan, and all emergency response teams sprang into action upon receiving the order — the rescue team donned chemical protective suits and rushed to plug the leak, the security and evacuation team set up a cordon and guided personnel to evacuate, the environmental monitoring team conducted real-time sampling and testing of the surrounding air and water, and the medical rescue team stood by at all times. The entire drill was closely linked and smoothly coordinated. From the occurrence of the incident to the complete control of the site, all tasks were completed within the scheduled time, fully demonstrating the practical response capabilities of the company's emergency response team.
After the drill concluded, Mr. Li, the General Commander of Emergency Response at Anhui Poly Pharm, organized a debriefing meeting to analyze the issues identified during the drill one by one, clarify corrective measures and responsible persons, and form closed-loop management, ensuring that "each drill leads to improvement."
During Safety Month, Anhui Poly Pharm also carried out safety publicity and education in various forms — hanging safety-themed banners, posting promotional posters, and playing warning and educational videos — creating a strong atmosphere in which "everyone pays attention to safety and everyone participates in safety."
Safety is the lifeline of corporate development.
